Vang Family

Nhia Vang was an intelligence officer for the United States during the Vietnam War. Though his service was for the United States military, he was not an enlisted member. As a result, he is unable to claim any veterans benefits. The lack of veterans benefits has been especially hard on the family since Nhia was laid off and his wife recently suffered a stroke.
The Vang family’s house is in foreclosure. When the
sheriff comes to foreclose on the house, the Vang family will have
nowhere to live. “I will have to take my family out to the jungle”
says Nhia.
