As a certified Community Development
Financial Institution (CDFI), Greater Minnesota Housing
Fund assembles financial resources and tools that support
the creation
of safe, decent and affordable housing for low- and moderate-income
families and historically underserved emerging market households
throughout greater Minnesota.
Through a variety of innovative
programs including Building Better Neighborhoods, Employer
Assisted Housing,
Minnesota Green Communities, Supportive Housing Initiative,
and others, Greater Minnesota Housing Fund combines short-term
financing and permanent loans for single- and multifamily
housing with strategic grant making and technical assistance
to communities and developers to promote the creation
of well-planned, mixed-income neighborhoods. Greater Minnesota
Housing Fund provides the following types of community
