Greater Minnesota Housing Fund, a non-profit, Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) that focuses lending efforts on affordable housing and community development in Greater Minnesota seeks a Senior Housing Development Lender.

This growth requires us to create a new position within our organization that will be responsible for underwriting, as well as managing, servicing and closing new loan requests and work directly with other professionals, including legal counsel, developers, lenders, and representative of other agencies and organizations in order to assess project feasibility and bring funded projects to closing.

This position requires knowledge of, and direct experience with affordable housing programs, tools and deal structuring, including:

  • Low-Income Housing Tax Credits
  • MF & SF subdivision real estate development projects
  • Preservation of federally-assisted housing
  • Supportive housing for homeless individuals & families
  • Work-outs of troubled projects.

Minimum qualifications are a master’s degree and 7+ years of progressive experience in areas of affordable housing, finance & community development planning. Frequent travel w/in state may be necessary.
